花样年华

Two days before CNY, we decided to visit the Flower market. I was at one 5 years ago when i visited HK briefly with Starfanie - We knew about it from the front desk receptionist. Armed with nothing but good faith, we ventured the stretch near Causeway Bay and returned triumphant with goods to show and a night to remember.

This time round, i had the company of friends, we had sumptous hotpot nearby before braving the cold and crowd. To be honest i was so full i had second thoughts about it, but boy am i glad i stuck to it. Once there, the crowd filtered into the entrance and the maddening holler of stall owners assume.

These stalls are not your conventional art and crafts booth you see at River Hongbao. The folks here hammed it up selling the weirdest goods that leaves one bemused and a lil’ troubled.

How’s this for a tissue-paper dispenser? Pulling then out of an anus!? Eew…

Or how about a condom-shaped cushion? I don’t know how a cushion with a nip in the middle can be explained logically but who’s asking?

Alas, this huge blow-up Rocher takes the cake for having no use whatsoever except generate laughters all round.
Trust them to celebrate the festivites in such fashion.
how was the market on cny eve? did you go? oh wait, or was i talking to you online then?
