hk so far…
I haven’t been here long enough, just about 3 days in. The weather’s been quite harsh but still bearable for a tropical boy. Other than exploring the island bit by bit, i’ve been hitting the restuarants hard. My very content tummy is well hidden under layers of fabrics and colours - don’t we all love winter fashion? But between feasts and discoveries, i’m caught up on residual work from the freelance project. I hope i can finish it soon so i can really start enjoying my holiday.
With Chinese New Year creeping up, it is very evident throughout. The mindless repetition of cymbal-clagging, “suo na” blowing New Year songs everywhere makes suicide sound like a ride in the park.
I discovered H&M. It is indeed heaven on earth. I finally understood what all the hype was about. They keep saying it was gonna come to Singapore but its been a year since i first heard - since then i quit my job and britney’s quit her life… i’m still very much alive although Heath Ledger died. Anyways, it was indeed a fantastic place to shop and it helped that they are having a crazy sale. I bought a pair of socks and a brief, a shirt, a sweater and a scarf for a mere S$80.
Friends i met over dinner. ~People… people who needs people~ Gossips. Korean food. Good times.
Guess who we bumped into? Haha… didn’t see it coming. He just showed up in front of Time Square to promote his new film. Strangely there wasn’t much of a crowd so it was really surreal.
He just looked really spaced-out on stage.
See? Back to work at the end of the day in my little corner. It’s not all play hor.

Arghhh…u make me want to go HK just for H&M…but damn…no tics!!!! Wah who r the people in the pic, other than Yi Xin?
Hehe… ya. H&M. Totally. Egg tarts, century eggs, milk tea and new malls aplenty. More reasons. I wish you can be here too. The rest of the people in that picture are friends of friends and other friends. It’s like a get together of perfect strangers.
