ludicrously speaking

Like a castaway returning to civilisation, i’ve been busy catching up on t.v. programmes. Cable’s been good to me the past weekend, despite my limited basic channel package, everything on appeals to me - pimping rides on MTV, eye candies on tvbs’s anniversary show and a whole load of discovery specials. In fact, i’m almost convinced to go out and get myself a SMA*TTV setup box with an upgrade to my current plan. For the rest of you workaholics, SMA*TTV is like TIVO in America. You get to record all your fave programs and watch them at your own time. I learned from a friend that it also comes with a 1mbps internet connection- which means i could give up my Ma*online package come Dec when my contract is up. Sweetness.

Many plans for the coming months before the year ends. I’m looking forward to 2008. Ironically, despite been so involved in work and having so little time to do anything else in between, this year is passing by quite slowly. It feels like it’s been 2007 forever. I went to Shanghai in 2007, took charge of the art dept, went to Bangkok, trained with the Aussie Dragons, expanded my team - produced a newspaper, then to Bangi, stopped going for dragonboat practises, got promoted, produced two more titles, then recently to Penang and back… and it’s still only edging into October. I’ve been to the moon and back and the fat lady still adamant to sing. *pokes* 

Big plans for the new year (er…a bit early hor?), i’m already starting to paint my room and shop for new furnishings. I’m toying with ideas in my head on personal advancement, academically. Going back for dragonboat training and taking up a new sport. More cities to visit! New York, new york? Yes pls.

Before all that, i still have Hokkaido scheduled, a marathon to run and more magazines to produce.
