Living on a jet plane

I’m back for the second time, lived to tell the tale. I’ve done enough shopping to last me for my next 2 reincarnations… make that 5.

Bangkok had progressed massively over the short period of a year, there are so many new malls giving MBK a run for their money. The emergence of studio cafes, lifestyle shops and stylish eateries are bound to send any tourists’ hearts aflutter. I swear that at one point I felt a little overwhelmed, awe-struck if you will, at how fascinating the place had become. If you thought Bangkok was fun, wait till you go again.

This trip had been nothing but full of surprises and discovery. It is true when they say you inherit most of your parents characteristics, I didn’t realised that till now. For example, my mum is excellent with navigation - she can identify her clothes lane and handicraft lane within the mess of shops in Chatuchak. I have her correcting me a couple times about the wrong turns I make. Also, she is the ultimate shopping queen – easily outlasting me at the end of each day still wanting to buy more. I is very scared. Is it genes or influence? Hmmm…

While unloading my backpack, I’m hit by the fact that I am only emptying it for my trip to taiwan tomorrow. This time I’ve traveled enough to last me for the next 2 years… make that 5 months.
